Joy in Jesus

Updated: May 20, 2019

[Text currently being revised.] In 1982, I was impressed that the book Steps to Christ, written by Ellen White in the mid-1800's, needed a makeover. It is a wonderful Christian Classic that was showing its age. The meaning of archaic words that were in use when the book was written (like intercourse for example) evolved to make the text read wrong. When this book was written, intercourse meant to have an in-depth conversation, but in todays lingo, it has a sexual connotation that was not the author's intent at the time of writing.

Joy in Jesus is a modern version of the Christian Classic, Steps to Christ. The sentences structure was updated, along with words and expressions as needed to make it more readable today. It is my hope that you will be blessed by this book that uplifts Jesus.
